We offer your Spectators the complete DTU Nationals Package including hotel stay, admissions to the competition, transportation to the airport, and so much more! It is an option that many have taken advantage of, but there are other resources your spectators can use!

At DTU, we train our judges specifically to judge on the captions alone. Hear about the training and our system for how your routines will be scored.
CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION
At DTU, we understand the time that goes into preparing your team for Nationals. We give our coaches the freedom to decide the number of dancers they wish to compete in each category.
THE BATTLE
The DTU battle competition is an epic showdown of the best of the best!
Qualifying teams from the preliminary round are selected and invited to perform in the Battle, hoping to win the coveted Battle Cup. The atmosphere is unlike any other!

SPIRIT SHOWDOWN
The Spirit Showdown category is an additional opportunity for teams to show the audience something that is entertaining, fresh, new and unique to their program. It also allows teams to take creative risks with very few rules and to have fun!

2nd CHANCE ROUND
The Second Chance Semifinal Round is unique to Dance Team Union Nationals and provides teams who do not advance to finals after the preliminary round another chance to compete for a spot in finals! At DTU, every routine will either perform at the Semifinal Round or Final Round so that every team has the opportunity to perform their routine at least twice.
ARTISTRY
Dance Team Union encourages creativity in all categories. There is no particular style or “formula” required in any category. Dance team is about more than just imitation of previous award-winning routines - we want to inspire your dancers to showcase their own unique style. Our judges will strive to provide you with the most valuable feedback you will receive all season.
