
PAYMENT POLICIES
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
REGIONAL COMPETITIONS AND VIRTUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Any changes or cancellations for regional competitions or virtual championships made up to 24 hours prior to the event will be credited to your DTU account. Changes or cancellations made within 24 hours of your event will not be credited or refunded. Changes can be made in your registration account. Refunds can be requested by emailing registration@danceteamunion.com.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
To submit changes to team or spectator registration, log in to your registration account and make the updates. Changes sent in via email will not be accepted. Category (Pom, Jazz, etc.) and/or Division (Small, Large, All-Star) changes must be submitted at least 1 week prior to the scheduled Live Draw. Any change of category submitted after the Live Draw will result in that team performing first in their group.
If a person originally in a shared room is no longer attending, the rate for each person in that room will then adjust to reflect the new room type. For example, if one person in a quad room cancels their registration, the room type will switch to a triple room and each person's rate will go up.
Cancellation penalties are listed below for the DTU National Championship.
Prior to December 15th: No penalty
December 15th through January 15th: $100 per person
After January 15th: Full forfeiture
Cancellation penalties are listed below for The College Classic National Championship.
Prior to February 15th: No penalty
February 15th through March 15th: $100 per person
After March 15th: Full forfeiture
OVERNIGHT AND PRIVATE CAMPS:
Any changes or cancellations for overnight camps made within seven (7) days of your event will not be credited or refunded.
NO-SHOWS
If you are unable to attend your event after you register and you do not let us know by emailing us at registration@danceteamunion.com, no refunds will be given.
SCHOOL PO NUMBERS
We will accept a PO from your school as means of a temporary payment while we wait for your school check to arrive in the mail. Checks must arrive within 30 days after your event.
You can send your PO to registration@danceteamunion.com and let us know an estimated time frame of when we will receive your school check.
CRITIQUES & SCORESHEETS
Judges' critiques and scoresheets will not be released until full payment has been received.
UNPAID BALANCES
If there is an open balance on your DTU account upon registering for a new event, your registration may not be accepted until the open balance has been paid.
SERVICE FEES
All service fees are non-refundable.
