the rankings
DTU will host a series of four virtual events during the season collectively called “The Rankings.” The Rankings event series will culminate with a final public ranking of all competing teams, reflecting their cumulative performance in that division over the entire series. All teams are invited to join the excitement! Whether you're seasoned competitors or it's your first time at a DTU event, this is your chance to be part of something amazing.

WHAT TO KNOW:
Teams will submit videos of their performances that will be scored and verbally critiqued by DTU Judges. The total score of each routine (per style) will be placed on a list from highest to lowest for each event date.

For school teams: Pom, Jazz, Hip Hop, Team Performance, Kick and Military.

For all-star teams: Pom, Jazz, Hip Hop, Kick, Contemporary/Lyrical and Variety.

There is no limit to the number of routines a team can submit

A bid to the 2027 DTU National Championship, or

a spot in the 2026 DTU National Championship Finals

In order to be eligible for the prizes set forth above in any division of The Rankings, a team must register for at least three of the four The Rankings events in that division. Any team that does not register for the minimum number of events may still be ranked, enter any The Rankings event and receive scores and video critiques from DTU’s judging panel in any eligible style(s) of dance.
