2026 Nationals Master Class: Contemporary with Jocelyn Dowling-Fakhrieh

Joey Dowling-Fakhrieh trained at The Dance Club in Utah and later at NYU Tisch School of the Arts before launching a successful professional career. She has toured with Mariah Carey as her body double and dancer on her Butterfly World Tour, performed as a Radio City Rockette, and appeared on Broadway in Sweet Charity, Dance of the Vampires, In The Heights, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and The Mambo Kings. Her film and TV credits include Chicago, The Producers, Rock of Ages, Smash, Sex & the City, and choreography for So You Think You Can Dance. Joey also served as Associate Choreographer for the Tony Award-winning In The Heights. A passionate teacher for over 16 years, she has taught internationally and on faculty for NYCDA, for over 25 years. Joey is also the co-creator of the dance wear brand Jo and Jax!
