I have over 25 years of dance training in classical ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. I am a former Miss Illinois, and finished in the Top Ten at the 2012 Miss America Pageant where I got to perform my talent of ballet en pointe live on ABC! I have been teaching, coaching and choreographing for over ten years for various dance studios, high school dance teams, and the Miss Illinois Scholarship Pageant. I have coached and choreographed 3 different Illinois High School Dance Teams over the past ten years. My teams have placed 3rd, 4th and 5th at the IHSA State Finals and I have had 4 Sectional Championship Teams. I judge for studio dance companies such as Legacy and Precision Arts Challenge and am also entering my 3rd year as an IHSA Dance Official. I am a guest instructor and choreographer at both a regional and national level for various high school teams, dance studios and talents for the Miss America Organization. I believe in encouraging dancers to embrace the attributes that make them unique and use those tools to strive to be the best that they can, not only in the dance world, but all facets of life!
