August

August is originally from Mobile, Alabama, where her love for dance began at a young age. She trained at various studios before finding her home at Next Generation Dance Center. During high school, she danced all four years at Baker High School, then continued dancing at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College as a Perkette. August is currently pursuing a degree in Physical and Health Education (Grades 6–12) at the University of South Alabama. Her favorite styles to dance and teach are Hip Hop and Jazz Funk. This is her first year on staff, and she’s thrilled to make memories and connect with talented dancers across the country!
