Michelle Lemm

Michelle has spent over 30 years immersed in the dance world as a teacher, coach, choreographer, technical and artistic advisor, and adjudicator. She began her judging career with IDTA in 1995 and is a founding member of TeamDance Youth, TTI Technical Camps, and TeamDance Illinois, where she served as a technical adjudicator. Michelle has also adjudicated for IHSA.

Throughout her career, she has coached and choreographed award-winning teams of all ages and levels, working within both studio and junior high/high school circuits. Her teams have achieved success at the state, national, and world levels. For the past 10 years, Michelle has enjoyed teaching, coaching, and choreographing competitive teams at Academy of Ballet Wauconda, the town she proudly calls home.

Beyond dance, Michelle is deeply passionate about holistic healing. In her free time, she teaches quantum energy healing to students and parents, helping them balance and ground their energy to support self-healing and connection with others. She also works in guided energy retrieval, biofield tuning, and chakra cleansing, integrating these practices alongside her work in dance.

Michelle is the proud mother of three grown children—Mikayla, Kross, and Trinity—and lives with her husband and their three dogs.
