Bonnie Hitman
Bonnie has over 25 years of dance experience specializing in pom, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet,
and kick. Bonnie spent much of her adolescent and teen years dancing at a Wisconsin-based dance
studio. She spent four years on an award-winning high school dance team, dancing in various national
circuits and events, traveling and dancing in the Macys Day Parade, as well as dancing multiple times in
Disney World. She has over 7 years of experience coaching a D2 Wisconsin High School Dance Team and
over 10 years teaching at a ballet school.
In 2007, Bonnie began judging the art of dance. She is a trained performance judge and Safety &
Education judge for her home state with Wisconsin Association of Cheer & Pom Coaches. She is a past
performance judge coordinator, board member and dance committee member for her state
organization as well. Bonnie additionally trains and judges for DTU, IHSA, IHSDTA, NAIA, NDCA and
USASF.
Bonnie continues dance education in ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop and has additional interests in
acrobatic education. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and an
Associate Degree in Sport Management.
Bonnie is currently the Manager of Event Strategy and Campaigns for a Fiduciary in Southeast
Wisconsin. She also sits on the Advisory Board for Women in Hospitality and volunteers within the
community through Secure Futures. She recently was named as a Woman to Watch 2024, by BizTimes.
Bonnie has two daughters, both who dance for a successful studio in Southeaster Wisconsin. She
resides in Waterford WI, with her husband, Charles, daughters, Abby (13) and Emmy (8), her two
labradors and a handful of other fun animals.
