Lindsay Wakefield
Lindsay Wakefield is an experienced dance performance judge who has been passionate about the sport since beginning her own dance journey at the age of four. Growing up in Racine, Wisconsin, she trained and competed at her local studio and, later, her high school dance team. After graduating high school in 2015, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she danced on the college team for four years and earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in History and English.
In 2019, she began her judging career with the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches (WACPC). Her dedication to judging excellence is reflected in her 2023 Judging Levels 1 and 2 certifications from the National Dance Coaches Association, followed by Level 3 certification in 2024. She also trained with Dance Team Union and joined their staff as a judge that same year. Currently, she serves as an at-large member of the WACPC Board of Directors.
In addition to judging, Lindsay has passionately coached at the varsity and collegiate level. Since 2022, she has been the head coach of the dance team at Bryant & Stratton College in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She currently works at the Medical College of Wisconsin and resides in Milwaukee. Her favorite style is Pom.
