Danielle Nielsen
Based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Danielle Nielsen works professionally in commercial insurance. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education and continues to bring her dedication to the dance community through mentorship, leadership, and a lifelong love of the sport.
Danielle danced scholastically for seven years and began choreographing pom, kick, and jazz routines while still in high school. She went on to coach both middle school and high school dance teams for five years, sharing her passion for precision, performance, and teamwork. Now entering her sixth year of judging, Danielle is WACPC trained, NDCA certified at Levels I and II, and is currently pursuing her Level III certification. This season marks her first year judging with Dance Team Union.
In addition to judging, she also proudly serves on the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches (WACPC) Board of Directors. She remains passionate about supporting dancers and coaches, bringing her experience and enthusiasm to every event she’s part of. Danielle values the opportunity to give back to a community that shaped her own dance journey.
