Cathy Jenkins

Cathy Jenkins originates from Pittsburgh, PA and has been dancing since the age of three, studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Musical Theater. She has choreographed and coached Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Pom for over 20 years. She danced at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as being a member of the Dance Alloy Ensemble. After graduation, Cathy was given the opportunity to become the Dance teacher, Dance Troupe Coach and Artistic Director at Chartiers Valley High School. Cathy has won several choreography awards in Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theater. Cathy believes that dance is an art form and a sport that allows each participant to express his/her feelings, artistic expression, athletic ability, and connect with their audience.
