Alyson Lamoreaux

Alyson Lamoreaux has been teaching dance for the past 10 years, and tumbling/gymnastics for the past 6 years. She has been an assistant coach for the Cedar High School Drill Team, and is a Utah High School Activities Association certified judge, judging at dance and drill team competitions throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Arizona for the past 6 years. She has choreographed for studio routines, solos, and drill teams. She grew up dancing at Tiffany Dance Company in Herriman, Utah, training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tumbling, and production while teaching ballet, technique, and jazz for younger teams. She was a member of the Riverton Silverline Drill Team in high school, serving as a captain during her senior year. She competed in all team routines during her time on Silverline, including Military, Lyrical, Jazz, Kick, Character, and Hip Hop. After moving to Cedar City in 2017 for college, she started coaching gymnastics and tumbling at the Southern Utah Gymnastics Academy, and immediately started judging local studio competitions. In 2019 she began judging for the Utah High School Activities Association drill team invitationals, regions, and state championships. She is the competition director for the Parowan High School Rammette’s Jr Drill Competition. Alyson graduated from Southern Utah University in April of 2022, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics, minors in Finance & Marketing. She is a member of the Utah Dance Judges Association, National Dance Coaches Association, and is pursuing a certification in Acrobatic Arts. Alyson has a passion for teaching and choreographing, and in her spare time she loves being outside and exploring Southern Utah!
