Assistant Tabulator

Position Summary

Assistant Tabulators are responsible for setting up the judging equipment and operating the judging software. Throughout the weekend, they monitor for any computer or software issues to ensure critiques are properly recorded. Additionally, they work side by side with the Tabulator and collaborate closely with the backstage manager, who announces routines onto the competition floor.

Requirements

  • Comfortable learning and operating new computer programs

  • Proficient in troubleshooting technology issues

  • Highly organized with the ability to stay focused during long days

  • Skilled in monitoring the pacing and flow of the competition to keep the event on schedule, working alongside the backstage manager

All DTU Crew members have the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in dance/dance team

  • Ability to travel on Fridays and Mondays between November and February

  • Capability to fly out of major US airports

  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist clients

  • Valid US driver's license or passport

  • Approved background check
