virtual championship event details

PAYMENTS
All payments are due 2 weeks prior to your broadcast date. School checks, booster checks, money orders, cashier checks, or credit card payments will be accepted as payment.

 

Personal checks will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender if received. Please include your invoice number as well as team/spectator name in the memo of checks to ensure the payment is applied to the correct invoice for your group. All check payments should be made out to Dance Team Union and sent to the mailing address below:

​All credit card payments must be made through your online registration account. A 3.7% fee will be added to all credit card payments.

 

 

VIDEO TAPING GUIDELINES
Click here to view our recommended video taping guidelines. We encourage you to follow these guidelines, however, there will be no penalty if you choose or are unable to follow every guideline. Just remember that the judges will only be able to judge what they can see on your recording.

If you are unable to follow these guidelines due to space limitations, email us at registration@danceteamunion.com to schedule a call with our office staff. We will talk through your options and give you our best recommendation.

 

 

UPLOADING YOUR VIDEOS & MUSIC
To upload your video(s), click the "Upload Video" button on your dashboard. You will only be able to submit one video per routine.

To upload your music, click the “Upload Music” button on your dashboard. We require all music be uploaded for this event so our production team can overlay your music on top of your video(s).

 

Routine videos and music will be due 12 days prior to your broadcast date.

 

 

COMPETITION SCHEDULE
Competition schedules will be created once registration closes for each event. We will post final schedule to our website on the Virtual Championships page.

 

 

COMPETITION BROADCAST
Check out our Virtual Championships page on our website to view broadcast dates. This is also where you will be able to tune-in to the show! We will also email out a link prior to the broadcast date so you can share the link with your fans and encourage them to tune-in as well.

Start times for each DTU Virtual Championship are TBD. Once we get closer to the event, we will add this information to our website.

 

 

MASTER CLASS
As always, we will be hosting a free virtual master class for your dancers the day of the competition broadcast! This master class will take place prior to the start of the show.

 

 

DTU FAN VOTE
The DTU Fan Vote is back! Spread the word and raise funds for your team! Encourage your fans to vote for your program. $1 = 1 Vote, and fans can vote as many times as they’d like. Fan Vote winners receive rhinestones, a feature on our social media, and 100% of funds earned. All other participants receive 50% of funds earned. Voting will open the week of your event and will close at the conclusion of the competition broadcast.
