PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
M, T, TH, F (7-8:45 AM)
On Mondays and Fridays, the DBU Patriettes focus on ballet, technique, new tricks,
and team workouts with a personal trainer.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Patriettes work on dances for upcoming performances.

WORKOUT REQUIREMENTS:
The DBU Patriettes are required to workout with our team trainer every Monday and Friday during the Fall & Spring Semester.

AUDITION PROCESS / REQUIREMENTS:
DBU Patriette tryouts take place at the end of May each year, however, the team also offers recruiting opportunities throughout the year.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All expenses are paid for by the University for each dance team member. This includes the Patriettes annual trip to Daytona Beach, Florida as they compete at NDA Nationals. Every year, the Patriettes also put on a Christmas Showcase which showcases many styles of dance. Lastly, every four years the Patriettes go on an overseas mission trip to use dance as a means to share the love of Christ.

No summer practices. Early move-in for fall with DTU camp and performance at St Louis Cardinals game. In fall and spring, we practice 3 days a week and have workouts twice a week.

WORKOUT REQUIREMENTS:
Twice a week as a team with our cheer team

AUDITION PROCESS / REQUIREMENTS:
Recruitment based tryout. We accept a wide variety of skills but recommend our dancers are well rounded in all three collegiate styles. Skills recommend are double or triple pirouette, a la secondès, intermediate to advanced leaps, headspring, Kip-up, toe touch, and calypso

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Today, the Reddies Pom Squad makes appearances throughout the community, performs and cheers at all home football games, select away football games, home basketball games, and select basketball away games. As well as these things, the Reddies Pom Squad began competing during the 2020-2021 season both regionally and nationally under the direction of Graduate Assistant Coach, Christopher Gardner. The Reddies Pom Squad earned 3rd in Open Hip-Hop and 5th in Open Pom at DTU Spring Regionals and then earned 5th in Hip-Hop and 5th in Open Pom at DTU Nationals.
